I am guest posting over at Birth Parents Place today. It is the story of my adoption and meeting my biological mother. It is an extremely emotional story and I was balling when I wrote it because it brought back so many of those feelings. But I feel like people need to know what it's like to be adopted and how many feelings are actually attached to it.

That is an amazing story and I'm so happy for you that your biological mom is apart of your life.
I know in a way the feeling that something isn't completely right. My aunt & uncle adopted me at 6yrs old. My mom wasn't around and my dad was an alcoholic. I saw him when I visited him. and I loved my aunt and uncle very much but they weren't MY parents and whenever I found out my dad was getting married when I was in 6th grade I just had an overwhelming urge to be with him and be a "family"..
sorry I wrote a novel just wanted to say I understand somewhat.
what an amazing story! i am passing this on to my sister in law, who is going through the adoption process right now. thanks for sharing!
Such a good story! I have a similar one, up tp the part where you went and found her. I'm way too chicken to do it. it's a hard thing to do, good for you!
