Casual put together mama style

Sorry I have been away for a month...
I have been super busy with doing the 21 day fix from Beachbody
and I just totally lost track of my blog.
But I do want to tell you that if you'd like to join me in the 21 day challenge
or I plan on doing the new Piyo Fitness here next month
so you are welcome to join me!
Just follow my link either on the side bar or
right here.

But now onto my post.
I just bought this shirt for my anniversary gift
and am going to be getting this necklace soon from my online
Stella + Dot Trunk show I am having on Facebook.
Here is the link to my trunk show
so you can join me in checking out the brand new fall line
and splurging on some gorgeous jewelry for yourself!

So I wanted to put together an outfit that I will for sure be wearing as soon as I get both of these items in my possession!
The shirt should be here in the next week or so but the necklace will be awhile
since my trunk show is going on for a couple weeks.
Please join me if you'd like!
Here is my adorable + super comfy but put together mama outfit
using these two things and basics I already have.

dressy casual

dressy casual by libbyuglesich featured in lauren conrad style

I had to include a cute pair of sunnies
and some bright red lips + mega long lashes
with some boyfriend jeans, adorable pink bow sandals
and it wouldn't be complete without a cute top knot to "top" it all off!

let's stop the judgement!

I want to start this off by saying that I am in no way perfect
and am definitely at fault for doing this myself.
I just think we need to confront it head on...
We as women need to listen to each other
and actually hear what the other women are saying.

We as women need to be so much more supportive to each other than we are.
In everything...
In motherhood {& everything that comes with it}...
In body image...
In relationships...
Let's just support each other!
Stop judging each other and love each other for who we are.
We are all different but yet we're all the same.
We all come from different places
and have different relationships
and lives, but we all have feelings
and we all have to be willing not only to see the difference{s} but understand them.
I love just like you do.
I see faults in myself every.single.time I look in the mirror just like you.
I have rough days and amazing days just like you.
I have special qualities just like you.
I work so hard to be happy just like you.
I feel just like you.

I don't want to care that you breastfed your kid when I didn't...
I don't want to care that you feed your kids all organic when I feed my kids whatever...
I don't want to care that you are in perfect shape and I am so far from it it's not even funny...
I don't want to care that you have a best friend but I don't...
I just want to see you
and know you
and love you for who you are.
In all your beautiful, amazing, funny, charming, sweet glory!

So why can't we just support each other and say I understand...
I'm here for you no matter what.
So this is what I propose that we stop judging
and start supporting each other no matter
our differences or our similarities!

Teaching body image to kids

Katie from Loves of Life wrote a post that inspired my post for today.
Her post wasn't so much on body image but on being in a moment with her daughter
and not saying something that could start something in her daughter seeing her not love her body completely
and she did not want that.
But it put a spark into my brain about writing a post on body image and how I am going to try to deal with it when it comes to my kids.
So thank you Katie for this post here.

First of all I want to tell all of you that you are beautiful!
Don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise.
Our society has such a distorted view on what is beautiful
and we as mother's need to try to change that.
Since I am a mother of both a son + a daughter...
I have to come at it from both perspectives::
How males view women
and how women view women.

For Zane {+ any future son(s)}::
I am going to try to make it extremely clear that no matter what size a woman is
they are still beautiful.
I want him to understand that even if you are larger
you're still beautiful.
I am not a small girl and I have my problem areas which make me completely uncomfortable
because of what our society has made me think is beautiful.
I get asked on a regular basis when I am due.
{which by the way if you are not 100% positive that someone is pregnant do not ask them when they are due. It is embarrassing for both parties and makes me feel like crap!
Oh and it also completely pisses off my husband when someone asks me this
because of how rude it is.}
Really I don't look pregnant at all...
I gain all my weight in my stomach
and yes it's bigger than the rest of me but it definitely doesn't look like I'm pregnant.
I have cried many times when I've gotten home after a comment like that.
{Please people be considerate of others!}
Ok sorry so back to how to deal with it with Zane.
I don't want him to look at women and judge them by their size
{or in any other way}
I want him to look at women and think wow she's beautiful
or I would really like to get to know her because she looks interesting.
I know there have probably been people I have passed by in my life becoming friends with because of
the way that they looked...
and I D O  N O T want that for either of my children.
I want them to be friends with people because they are good people + are caring
+ loving + kind hearted.

For Lilah {+ any future daughter(s)}::
I want her to love herself no matter what she looks like.
I think she is the most beautiful girl in the world and so does her daddy...
I want her to look at herself + see beauty.
I want her too look at other women + see beauty in every.single.one of them.
I want her to look at her mama + think wow she's beautiful...
she's not perfect but she is beautiful.
I want her to know that no matter what anyone else says about her she is perfect in my eyes.
I will do E V E R Y T H I N G in my power to show her that.
I don't want her to look at someone + envy them for the way that they look.
I want her to love the way she looks.
I can't express enough that she is the most gorgeous little lady in the entire world
+ no one will ever be more beautiful than her.
Because in my eyes she is.
Plain + simple.

It's so important that we as parents try to teach our children how N O T to judge!
I want them to love people for who they are
+ not the way that they look.
So now it's time for me to love myself
+ stop hating the way I look.
I need my children to see me love myself so that they can love themselves.

summer essentials

I am going to share with you my summer essentials for this summer.
Things I am loving for this summer and things that are just plain necessity in my opinion.

summer

Maxi Dresses::
Really are a must for the summer for me.
I love how quick + easy they are to throw on and yet keep you cool enough on those really hot days
and this one is mint my favorite color right now!

Magazines::
I am a magazine junkie + my husband hates it
but I just can't help it.
They're just so much fun to read + look at.
My three favorites are instyle, glamour + lucky.

Flip Flops::
I love flip flops in the summer...
Um, hello comfy + easy to slip on in a second when you're chasing after two kids!
I love Old Navy flip flops because they're cheap yet still comfortable.

Fedora::
Gotta keep the sun off your face and stay stylish all at the same time.
I found an adorable one at Target but Gap has some really cute ones right now too!

Watch::
I am really into wearing a watch right now because it's so easy to lose track of time
when you have two little kids so I find it a necessity.
I love this one from Piperlime, this one from Nordstrom, this one from Macy's +  this one from Target!

Statement Necklace::
I am loving the statement necklace this summer you can add an awesome pop of color to any outfit
by just adding a great statement necklace!
I love groopdealz, very jane, + bauble bar to find great ones for not too crazy a price

One Piece Swim Suits::
Since I had kids I decided I was no longer comfortable in a two piece suit
so I switched over to a one piece + I have to say I'm never going to look back!
I have this one from Old Navy and the rest of their one piece suits this year are awesome.

Beach Towels::
You have to have these when you have kids getting in + out of the pool or splash pads!
I love this one from Target and this one from Zumiez.

Izze Soda::
I love these sodas they're so good!
You can get them at Whole Foods, New Seasons + sometimes at Target.

BBQing::
I love BBQing anything in the summer!
Steak, Burgers, Chicken, Kabobs, Lamb, Pork, you name it we like to grill it!
You can find some great BBQs at Home Depot or Lowes.

S'mores::
Ok so who doesn't love a good s'more roasted over an open flame?!
I like to use Honey Maid garham crackers, Hershey's special dark chocolate
and Kraft jet puffed jumbo mallows.

Beach Bags::
A beach bag is definitely a necessity in my book.
You have to have a place to hold all the little stuff you have to carry around when you have two small kiddos.
I have this bag from Old Navy
but this one, this one + this one from Gap are super cute too!

iPod/iPhone/iPad/laptop computers::
Basically anything that will play music so you can have some tunes
while you're outside enjoying the gorgeous weather
not matter whether you're at the beach, park, pool or just out in your backyard!
Basically anything Apple is what I would choose.

Sunglasses::
These are a must when it's sunny for me because I have sensitive eyes.
I love these from Target
but Charming Charlie's has a huge selection of colorful fun sunglasses.

Sandals::
When flips are just not appropriate you have to have a great pair of
sandals to throw on with that maxi dress.
Target is always a great place to find sandals, Old Navy or Gap are some of my other favorites.

Nail Polish::
Always have to have those toenails painted a cute summery color!
I love Essie + OPI the best.

Sunscreen::
I always have to have sunscreen with me in the summer!
I burn so easily and of course the kiddos need to be protected too.
I like Supergoop!, AveenoCoppertone Waterbabies.

Aftersun Lotion::
I have found that even after being in the sun for just a few minutes my skin
is super, duper dry!
So This new Hawaiian Tropics aftersun lotion is amazing.

Eyeshadows::
I like to wear simple eyeshadow but I don't want it
smudging or running.
So I like to use Maybelline Color Tattoo cream eyeshadow.

Face Wipes::
I like using face wipes to take my makeup off at night
I use natural ones because of my sensitive skin so
these from Yes to Carrots or these by Simple are my top choices.

Tinted Moisturizer::
I love tinted moisturizer in the summer because it's not as
thick and cakey as regular foundation.
I like either Benefit or BareMinerals because they're both easy on the skin and have SPF in them.

Bronzer::
Bronzer is important to help keep your face looking like it's getting color even when
you are covering it with a hat, sunglasses + SPF!
I like to use Too Faced in Snow Bunny...
it's got 4 colors that mix together to make the perfect light bronzer.

Fake Tan::
I don't tan really anymore because I've had too many scares of maybe having skin Cancer
so I have had stop really just sitting + tanning so I like to use a fake tanner.
I found FakeBake through the lovely + sweet Miss Aubrey over at The Kinch Life
and I have not looked back!
It's awesome and gives you amazing color even after just one time using it.

Texture Spray::
I love a good beachy wave
and I love love love Not Your Mother's Beach Babe or BlowPro Beach Blow.

Hand Sanitizer::
I always have hand sanitizer with me because those playgrounds can be
N A S T Y
so sometimes you have to basically bathe your kids in the stuff when you leave.
I love Bath + Body Works hand sanitizer.

Lipgloss::
I like something that just adds a hint of color to my lips + moisturizes at the same time.
So I am really loving Covergirl LipPerfection Jumbo Gloss Balm
in Berry Twist.

Chapstick::
Since my lipgloss has no SPF in it I have to wear a chapstick over it to protect my lips
from those UV rays.
I love Softlips in Raspberry Mint.

Mascara::
You have to have waterproof mascara in the summer when you're constantly going
to the pool, beach, + splash pads with your kiddies.
I am really loving Maybelline Volum' Express The Rocket in very black.

An Open Letter To Moms::

This pretty much sums it up...

Seriously this kid is awesome!

An interview with my mom, Sally

mothers day 2011

1. How did you feel the moment you found out you were pregnant
{found out you were going to get me} with me::

Absolutely elated, thrilled
and couldn't believe it.

2. Was I a wonderful surprise or carefully planned::

A little bit of both, since we could not have children
we planned to adopt a baby
and it was a wonderful surprise
when the agency called us just 11 months after we applied.

3. What was the most challenging time in my childhood:: Why::

When you were 5 years old
because you were trying to control everything.

4. Did you worry more about me as a child or now that I am an adult::

I didn't worry about you anymore than any other mother.
I am naturally a worrier so I still worry about you.
My mother still worries about me
and she is 95.
So until the day I die.

5. What is one thing that you thought was deeply important when I was a baby that you now realize did not matter at all::

Things I would have done differently was not spending so much time on laundry
and making you look perfect.
I spent too much time doing your hair
and should have just played more with you + your brother more.

5.05.2013

An interview with myself

1. Before you ever even had children, how did you feel about being a mother::

I always, always wanted to be a mom,
ever since I was a kid myself.
It was a dream of mine to be a mom from day one
and the day that Zane was born my dream came true + again when Lilah was born.

2. Since becoming a mother, what is something that has happened that you never thought would::

That I'd be anything like my own mother
and now I am so much like her.

3. Is being a mother less difficult, more difficult or exactly how difficult you imagined::

It is 100 times for difficult but there is not one thing that I would change about it.
I love every single second of being a mom,
even the bad times where I want to pull my hair out or scream.

4. What is your fondest memory of being a mother {so far}::

I love the moments when Zane tells me he loves me
or comes + cuddles with me for no reason.
It makes me happier feel more love than ever in my life.
It makes my heart melt every time.

5. If your children only learn one life lesson from you, what do you hope it is::

To love God with all their heart
and to be kind to everyone they meet.

mama + mini style #3

mama + mini3

I love stripes + florals but pairing them together is something new that I am going to try this spring + summer seasons.
I love both these dresses + those shoes are awesome!
Just such a cute combo. :)

mama + mini style #2

mama + mini2

mama + mini2 by libbyuglesich featuring beach cover ups

Who isn't loving all things mint right now?!
I know I am obsessed.
And when I found those mini mint jeans for Lilah I knew I'd have to find some for myself to match!
Well now my mama + granmama bought some too,
so we're going to be doing a fun generational shoot in them and I really can't wait!
But also who doesn't love a good bow
and these sandals are so freaking cute I knew we had to have them.
We have already worn the heck out of our mint jeans
and since spring is finally getting here we will definitely be seeing them a lot more.

3.30.2013

mama + mini style #1

I decided to rename my series
from big & little style to::
mama + mini style

So here is my first edition of mama + mini style!

mama + mini

mama + mini by libbyuglesich featuring hoop earrings

I am loving color blocking and pink + orange are so amazing together.
I also just purchased this dress from Jessica Simpson Collection after I saw her wearing it
on Fashion Star a couple weeks ago.
I fell in love with it on there and knew I had to have it!
I just got it in the mail yesterday + it is just as fabulous in real life as it was online.
I also ordered those heels because I was in need of some nude pumps.
So I am definitely excited to wear this outfit when the weather gets a bit warmer...
let's hope that's soon!
I am loving these types of dresses for Lilah right now with the built in onesie underneath,
so easy + useful when those quick diaper changes are needed
and she always has to have an adorable headband.

3.11.2013

Diaper bag

Thought I'd share what we have in our diaper bag all the time::

diaper bag

diaper bag by libbyuglesich featuring lacoste sunglasses

The Bag::
Petunia Pickle Bottom bag::
I love this thing!
It has a built in diaper pad that is removable
+ tons of pockets for
all those things you need to stuff inside for your babies
+ toddlers.
Huggies refreshing wipes::
That's a given when you have two in diapers still!
We love Huggies refreshing wipes because they are thick
+ do the job really well.
Plus they smell amazing!

Momma::
Camelback waterbottle::
I've gotta stay hydrated + I love this thing so much.
Sunglasses::
Even though I live in Oregon I wear my sunglasses all the time.
I have sensitive eyes so I've gotta protect them.
Hand sanitizer/holder::
Gotta have this stuff to keep your hands + your toddlers hands clean.
I love Bath + Body Works stuff it smells so amazing...
also the holder to hang it from the bag so it's not taking up valuable real estate inside the bag.
Hair ties::
I have long hair so I have to have hair ties to quickly through my hair up in a
pony/bun when it's getting in the way.
Sugar lip treatment::
Love this stuff + it has a hint of color to it...
I don't wear lipstick
{James hates it!}
so this stuff gives me a little color.

Zane::
Tommee Tippee cup::
Love these cups they don't leak
{which is a huge thing}
+ they are not straws so they don't randomly stop working.
Ella's Kitchen fruit pouches::
Great snacks for toddlers
+ hello they're fruits + veggies...
what toddler doesn't need more fruits + veggies?!
Socks::
I always keep these in the diaper bag for those moments when you go to a play place
+ we forgot socks...
always have to have them in those nasty play areas.
Huggies Pull-ups::
Zane's not potty trained yet but we're trying to get him to start...
so we are transitioning to pull-ups.
Annie's bunny crackers::
Just like goldfish but I think they're better
+ snacks are important to have when you have an almost 3y/o
who's always hungry!
T-shirt::
Messy toddler = need for a new shirt sometimes.
Toy Cars::
We always have cars in the bag to keep him occupied when we
have the occasional out to dinner or lunch.
Leapster Leap Pad2::
LOVE,  love love this thing!
It keeps him occupied in the car + he is learning to take pictures with it
+ he thinks he's so big for having his own "Ipad".

Lilah::
Huggies Snug + Dry diapers::
Obviously but we are a Huggies only household!
Every other diaper leaks when we use them.
Bibs/burp rags::
Always have a couple of these + some burp rags in the diaper bag.
Tommee Tippee bottles::
These bottles are the most amazing bottles we've used.
She hardly gets any air in them
+ she seems to love them.
Outfit/onsie/pjs::
I always have something to change her into
because if you don't that's the day you're going to have a blowout!
Socks::
Always have extra socks...
socks seem to disappear for some reason
off of babies feet so having and extra pair is a good idea.
Binky/clip::
She loves binkies
+ it's nice to have extra's in the bag.
Also the clips saves you from losing them all the time!
Formula dispenser::
I love this because then you don't have to shove the entire can of formula into your bag
+ it's all pre-measured out for you.
Sophie the giraffe teether::
This is the best teether in the entire world.
I love this thing + so does every baby that's used her.
She's soft rubber + the legs are the perfect shape for them to shove into their mouth
+ chew on for those darn teeth that cause so many problems.
Bling bling rattle::
Love this rattle it's got a great ring for her to grip...
it's adorable
+ what girl doesn't need a little bling?!

2.06.2013

5 minute makeup routine

This makeup routine is for those days that you have about 30 minutes to get yourself
and your kiddos ready to run out the door on last minute errands or play dates
but you don't want to leave without a little makeup.

5 min makeup

This may sound weird but I use these when I am in a time crunch or just want a little refreshing.
I wipe my face with one of these wipes...
they feel so refreshing
{just like the name}
and they also remove that little bit of dirt you built up while sleeping the night before.

I just started using this and so far I am loving the way it makes my eyes feel...
now that I am in my 30s I really need to start taking better care of my skin especially on my face
so this stuff is perfect way to start that.
I pat this under my eyes and also on my eye lids.

I absolutely love love love this stuff!
Yes it's extremely expensive but it is 100% worth it.
My skin feels so amazing after using it & it keeps my skin hydrated all day
which I really need...
after having both my babies my face is so dry!
I put this all over my entire face and I also use it on my neck.

This is for under your eyes and helps brighten them up
and it also is great for covering up those dark circles all of us moms have from those long nights
we are up with our babies!
I dab some on with the stick then pat it in with my fingers.

It's supposed to be used for keeping your eyeshadow from creasing...
I do use it for that on the days I use eyeshadow but on those days I just don't have time for it,
I use it as cover up on those pesky acne spots that I have.
The girl at the Benefit counter is the one who actually told me to do this & it has worked awesome!
I pat this on with my fingers {if you rub it in it just disappears, so pat don't rub.}

On the days I don't really need complete
and full coverage I use just my BareMinerals foundation,
it gives me enough coverage to even out my skin which is all I need on those
last minute outings.
This goes all over my face
and you can add as much as you need that's the beauty of this foundation,
so if you need a little more coverage on just one little spot you can concentrate it there.

This bronzer is awesome.
I love it and have used it since I was 18.
It gives me just the right little glow.
I sweep it across my forehead, along the sides of my nose,
on the apples of my cheeks and just a touch on my chin & neck.

I love this blush...
I got it for my wedding and have used it now for about 5 years.
It's the perfect color for my skin.
I just use this on the apples of my cheeks.

I love this mascara.
The brush is angled and it is also a flexible brush so it goes on really easily.
I only put mascara on the top lashes during the day.
I do not ever curl my eyelashes because they already touch my brow bone & leave little black marks
if I don't keep my eyes closed for a few seconds after applying my mascara.
{because they are so long.
I know you can hate me for it, my mom does!}

I got this from Sephora as my birthday gift and I fell in love!
This stuff feels so good on my lips and it has just the right hint of color to give them a pick me up.
I just put this on my lips and I am good to go.

Here is the look put into action :)
 photo braid_zps364a9b87.jpg
She's totally a momma's girl right now

I hope that this has been a little bit helpful in getting out the door fast when you just don't have time for yourself really but need to look somewhat put together! :)
My go to for quick hair is the side braid that I have done in the above picture.
I can do a tutorial for it on here for you if you'd like but I got mine from
Kate at the Small Things Blog here
and just continued it longer and put it into a messy bun.

To breastfeed or not to breastfeed...

I have had an internal struggle going on the last few weeks.
I don't know what to do.
I can't decide whether I want to try breastfeeding again.
It was a huge disappointment when I couldn't breastfeed, Zane.
I tried so hard and yet he just didn't latch correctly and I just couldn't provide the amount he needed.
It really hurt.
I cried A LOT when I couldn't do it.
And got a little depressed.
I really don't know if I want to go through that again.
I don't want to try so hard & then have a huge let down with her.
I don't think I could handle it again.
I know that every.single.baby is different...
but who's to say she won't be the same way?
Who's to say that I won't produce enough milk again?
How do I know she just won't latch at all?
I don't & nobody else does either.
It's not something that you can predict.
Oh how I wish it was.
But I just can't.
And I really don't think I can handle the let down.
I would love to have that bond between my daughter & me.
But maybe I am just not cut out for it.
I have an amazing bond with Zane even though I didn't breastfeed him,
but sometimes when I look back I feel like I missed out on something.
Did I?
Or should I just be happy with what I have?
And I have decided all that I can do is be happy with what I have.
I am not one of those people who think one way is better than the other.
I wasn't breastfed {seeing as I am adopted},
James wasn't either.
We turned out just fine.
And Zane seems to be flourishing & just as smart as the kids who were breastfed.
So I am strongly considering just not even doing it at all.

I am not looking to be criticized here...
this is my decision.
I don't mind your comments but please do not judge me
& send me hate messages about how I feel.
I am going to do what I end up deciding what is best for me.
So please if you have something not so nice to say please keep your comments to yourself.
I don't want to have to turn the comments off.

A little update: what's going on with us

We have been really busy with summer fun activities so I haven't been posting much. We also have some other things going on... so I thought I'd give you a small update.

1. Being almost 7 months pregnant during the summer has not been fun even though here in Oregon we haven't had a sweltering summer... it's still been hard on me. Lilah is doing great. I had an appointment a couple weeks ago {at 24 weeks & I am almost 26 weeks} and she was measuring 28 weeks which is WAY bigger than what the doctor was expecting. He said he thinks it's just the space she is in that is that big and not her but if she continues to measure that big we will probably be doing another ultrasound to measure and see if we need to get her out early! I am hoping she is not huge! I want a tiny baby girl... but we'll see what happens. I will love her no matter what so whatever happens I will be happy.

2. We have decided to put our house up for sale and try to get out of our tiny 2 bedroom house & into a bigger house that we will fit in. It is something we have been talking about doing for a long time now. We do not like the location we are in either... we kind of jumped into our house too fast and regretted it once we decided to have kids. So here we are now, I am pregnant with our 2nd child {& almost in my 3rd trimester} and we are going to put our house up for sale and try to move to the other side of town. I don't know if we're crazy or not but it will make us happier to be in a new location and a bigger house that will fit us much better. Only problem is our market for selling houses here in Oregon is AWFUL, & we cannot afford to lose money on our house. So we will see if we can get the amount we need for our house in order to get out. We also have to rent a storage unit and put half our stuff in there so that we can make our house appear bigger, get the carpets cleaned & give a really good deep clean, so that it won't be so hard to keep it clean for when people want to come look at it.

3.  Zane is growing and learning so much right now. He's learning his ABCs & how to count to 10 right now and is doing amazing! He's also got his 2 year old molars coming in so we've had some rough times... not bad nights just days of whining and crying and just being a pistol. Because at 2 life is so, so hard! We also bought a toddler bed for him and he's not ready at all for it, we tried it for one or two nights and we ended up putting him in his crib only a 10 - 20 minutes later because he was at the gate crying and "saying no bed, crib momma." So we will be trying it again in a few weeks since his sissy is going to need the crib when she gets here.

4. We have a cat {don't know if I've ever mentioned that before.} and she is driving us bonkers. She pees on the floor all the time even though we {James} has just changed the litter box or if we have clothes on the floor in the laundry room to be put in the washer she will pee on the clothes instead of walking 5 inches to her litter box. It is so annoying! We have actually started to think about getting rid of her because if we do move into a new house we don't want to deal with that in a brand new {to us} house!

That's just a little bit of what we are dealing with.

I have a problem... HELP!

So I have a big problem with my little man...
He is way too attached to his binky.
I mean way to attached!

{don't mind the scratches he had a fight with my parents cat & lost!}
He has to constantly have it in his mouth.
88% of the pictures I take of him have that darn binky in them
and I want to see that cute little mouth of his.
What is a momma to do?

So I am asking for your help!
What can I do to get rid of that thing?
I will let him keep it for sleeping for now since he's only one.
But all other times I don't think he needs it.
It's just a distraction...
and I definitely think it's keeping him from talking,
since he never, ever takes it out of his mouth!

So I am asking for you to give me some advice.
Any advice on how to get rid of a binky,
I'll totally take it.
He throws a huge tantrum when I take it away from him.
I need you to help me figure out how to get rid of this annoying little thing!
It's totally driving me nuts.
He's just too cute to run around 24/7 with that damn thing in his mouth!!

Being a Mom is Hard

So I wanted to post a video clip from Sex and the City 2 from the scene between Miranda and Charlotte on motherhood but I cannot find the clip anywhere that will allow me to actually post it to my blog so I am just going to put a link to it here.

Being a mom is hard!

Just click on the picture and it will take you to the video
When I saw this for the first time I have just had my son and it didn't mean much to me then but now it means more to me than anything because it is harder than anything else I have ever done in my entire life. But it is all so worth it. I cannot imagine life without him and I am so blessed to have him. I love every.single.second even when I want to pull my hair out from all the temper tantrums he's throwing and I can't figure out what he wants from me.
