Royal Wedding

So my morning was consumed with watching all things Royal Wedding. I recorded the wedding so that I cold watch it when I woke up because there is no way I could have gotten up to watch it when I have to watch the boy all day by myself with no help since daddy is still gone. He will be home tonight but still I would have been exhausted if I got up to watch it so I just chose to record and watch this morning when the boy and I got up.

I have to say that this wedding to me was absolutely amazing. I cried... I don't know them but I cried because it is such an amazingly sweet moment between two people and you can tell that they love each other so very much and the fact that they let the entire world into their wedding was amazing. I was also born in the same year as both of them so to me I feel a small connection with them because of that. I love her dress it was absolutely stunning. Everything about it was just perfect and I know there will be many, many knock offs all over the world for future brides to wear.

I also feel for Prince William and not having his mother there. I can't imagine how he was feeling because I know how close he was to her and how much he misses her. But to have his new bride wear her ring is amazing. It is such an awesome tribute to his mom.

Overall I have to say it was absolutely beautiful! I loved every minute of it. It was SOOO romantic and made me go back in my mind to my wedding day and think about how happy & excited I was to marry my best friend and to see that happen to two very special people on national television was truly amazing. So thank you Prince William & Princess Kate for letting us in on your special day! I will never forget it.

So my one word to sum it all up: STUNNING

Weight loss

So I have chosen to start eating completely different. I am going to significantly cut out bread & pasta and only eat it once and awhile. I am also going to start eating a lot more fruit & veggies and protein. This should greatly help me with my weight loss. Oh and don't forget cutting out soda except for one or two a week. Water... water will be my new best friend now. I will be drinking that all the time. I will sure miss my soda because I have a slight obsession with Dr. Pepper. I don't have to worry about cutting out sugar except for the soda because I don't eat a whole lot of it, I am just not a fan.
It is going to be tough but I think I can do it so therefore I will because if you just continue to believe you can achieve something then you will be able too. I need to lose weight for the wedding I am in, in September. I look awful and I cannot look like that for my friends wedding. I would feel hideous up there in front of all those people. I am still at my heaviest I have ever been and every single time I look at myself in the mirror I am disgusted by what I see. My husband has just lost 37 pounds and looks amazing and now I need to lose weight so that I look as good as him. Plus I just want to be happy... I am going to start working out as soon as I can. I really want to take kickboxing classes but I need James to be home so that he can watch the boy while I am in class. I must start working out hard I will be much happier once I have lost those 30 pounds that I am looking to lose. So wish me luck!

Easter

So I am a little late posting this but it's been a crazy last two days. James of course left Sunday night after dinner around 7. So I was alone again... on Monday morning I had to take the car in to get the CD player fixed and my mom came to get Zane and me. She brought us back here so that I could take a shower and get ready then we went to her house and Zane took a short nap. Then we went out and ran errands and when you have an almost one year old and a 93 year old with you errands take a lot LONGER than they normally would. We went to Costco, American Eagle, Target, & Fred Meyer. We did get pretty much everything done that we needed to get done. Then we went to my parents house and had dinner and then my mom took us to get our car and we went home and went to bed.

Then today we had a lunch date with a good friend of mine. But we had to meet her to pick up my bridesmaid dress because they were in and she wanted me to try it on so she could see it on. It looks okay. I really need to lose a ton of weight by her wedding in September! I am working on it. So we had lunch after and then went over to my parents house and Zane napped and I hung out watching TV for a little bit. Then we had dinner and came home. I fed Zane a bottle and put him to bed about an hour ago and he was in asleep within 5 minutes of putting him down. He was exhausted from the last two days.

So on to Easter we went to Church in the morning and it was an amazing service... as always! We then went to lunch with James's mom. She got Zane a very cute little outfit, a Baby Einstein MP3 player (it plays classical music... so awesome!), and the book You are my Sunshine (which I sing to him almost every single day). We then came home and Zane took a nap and I cleaned up the living room and kitchen/dining area and James payed some bills and then ran to his work to pick something up. Then Zane woke up and we gave him his Easter basket... The Easter bunny brought him a teddy dressed as a bunny, swim trunks, a bunny book, 4 Sesame Street books, a Praise Baby CD, A Veggie Tales DVD, a toothbrush and toothpaste. After that we went out to dinner with my family and they got him Easter baskets too and I can't even remember what all was in them. But all in all Zane's first Easter was a big success!

Birthday Invitations

So last week I was attempting to get a picture of Zane for his 1st Birthday Invitations and this is what I ended up with...

Loved this one but it didn't work because it cut off his head! :(

This is the one I ended up with... It's pretty cute too!
It's so hard to take pictures of an 11 month old baby who wants nothing more than to just play and not have to pose for a picture for his mother. But I got one that worked for the invitations and I am happy how they turned out. :) I can't wait until his birthday party next month!

Dreaming...

Right now I am dreaming of a white sandy beach in some very beautiful tropical place. Somewhere like this...

With a chair, umbrella, or hammock or maybe even all 3 would be great! To have a vacation to relax would be absolutely amazing... but I won't be doing that for about another year or so because of my husbands new position at work. No vacation time until we're done training. It's going to be really hard to wait but I will just have to make do with maybe a day trip to our cold beach here in Oregon.
