Show Us Your Life - Favorite Vactions

So today on Kelly's Korner she is doing Show us your life - Favorite Vacations so I thought I'd share a few of my favorite vacations.

Engagement - We went to Disneyland and while we were there James proposed to me at The Blue Bayou Restaurant in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. It was magical seeing as I LOVE Disneyland!!

Honeymoon - We went to Kona for our honeymoon and stayed in my parents time share there and it was an absolutely amazing vacation even though we had to cut it short because hubby had to go back to work.

Graduation Vacation - My parents took James and me to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico when we both graduated in 2009 from college. It was such a great trip. This is one of my absolute favorite vacation spots I have ever been! We got to swim with dolphins and it was the best thing ever!

Zane's First Vacation - My parents took all of us (brother, grammy, James, Zane, mom, dad & me) to Kona for Zane's first vacation. We had such an amazing vacation. Zane was only 4 months so he didn't really know anything but it was so much fun to have him there with us!

So those are all my favorite vacations. Hopefully soon we will be able to go on another vacation to take Zane so he can have fun!

Piano Playing & Park

So yesterday we hung out at home for the first part of the day until our friends Jana, Kellan, & Parker came over to hang out for a little while. We played and talked and I learned some good stuff about my camera and how to edit my pictures a little bit. Then we had to take our car back in to get the new CD player put in. So my brother picked us up and took us over to my parents house so that we could go take a walk up to the park and then walk up to dinner. But before we took our walk Zane decided he wanted to serenade us with a piano solo. It was beautiful. This was the first time I had my camera with me at the park and so I took a TON of pictures! So this is a picture overloaded post. Sorry!

Apple Juice

My son has a love for apple juice more than anything else in this entire world! He would have a constant flow of it all day every day if I would let him. He carries his little sippy cup around the living room with him until that apple juice is gone and then he'll bring me the cup asking for more... it's definitely adorable but it gives him a total sugar high. I try to only give him one cup a day but sometimes I give in to letting him have more. Does that make me a bad momma? I sure hope not. 

Haircut Time

So Zane had his first haircut yesterday! I was so nervous for him because I didn't know how he was going to react. Well he did amazingly well. He didn't stop moving the whole time but he never cried or got upset at all. He just sat in the chair and looked around. I was so proud of him... so here are the pictures I took and sorry it's a picture overload!

Weight loss and Zane

So as of this morning I am officially down TEN pounds! I am so excited. I started my weight loss journey at 167 and I am down to 157. 4! I am very proud of myself. It has taken me a few months to get here but I finally made it and I am overjoyed with my progress. It definitely gives me motivation to keep going and work harder to get those last 15 pounds off! 


Tomorrow we are taking my little man to get his first haircut! I can't believe I have to cut his hair before he is even a year old but it is so shaggy that it is always falling into his eyes and he gets upset because of it and I want it to look good for his Birthday in a couple weeks so I think this is the perfect time to cut it so it will be grown out just a little bit. I am very curious to see how he reacts when we take him in. Some kids cry and some kids do just fine. My mom said that I was fine but my brother cried his eyes out. We are taking him to this place in my area called Pigtails and Crewcuts for little kids and it has cars for them to sit in and TVs to watch while they cut their hair so we will see how he does and I will definitely have pictures before, during, & after for you tomorrow!
