WOW, what a great message. We are our own worst critiques, but it can be so hard sometimes to view the beautiful things about yourself. Thank you for sharing :)
I saw it the other day too and just loved it. It was amazing how consistently each woman saw herself as less beautiful. Really makes you think about what you would say about yourself... Stopping by from SITS!
I cried too. I feel like we are bombarded with images and celebrities who are considered "ideal," and when we don't match up, we are less content with ourselves. I have felt this my whole life and now have two girls (and a boy) who are continuing to be influenced by this kind of environment. I love that Dove has been trying hard to teach society that our differences are not a hindrance to our appearance, but rather, make us "individual" beauties.
Hi LIbby! I am new to your blog - saw your recent SITS feature, congrats! I just wanted to say hi and that I am happy I stopped by your blog. It's very fun and bright :) Thank you for sharing this video - I'd heard some things about the new campaign but hadn't watched yet. Definitely made me tear up!
I hope you'll check out my blog - www.sweetandsavorylife.com

I hadn't clicked on this before. I got teary eyed too...we need to stop being so hard on ourselves.
Happy SITS Day! Love this video- have been touched by it before and again now!
I feel like I would go the other way and make myself gorgeous and then I'd see the sketch someone else made and feel sad! Happy SITS Day!
