Inspiration Workshop - Bathrooms

I am linking up with Gussy Sews for the Inspiration Workshop post of the week. This week's prompt was bathrooms. For my post I am posting things that I dream about having in a bathroom.

I want a GIANT soaker tub like this one because it is so
simple but yet absolutely beautiful!

I would love to have a really cool looking fireplace in my bathroom to have on
when I am taking a nice long bath.

I want my bathroom to have a furniture looking cupboard in a dark espresso color with a fabulous piece of
granite on top of it.

With an amazing bowl sink or
under-mounted sink.

I would love to have a vanity separate form the sinks where I could
sit and put my makeup on.

On my vanity and my sink counter I wold love to have some
pretty accessories to hold all the essentials.

With a beautiful ottoman or chair to sit on while putting
on my makeup.

With a beautiful framed mirror and some
fresh flowers on my vanity.

And a lovely tray that I can set my collection
of perfumes on.

I want a fun or gorgeous chandelier
in my bathroom.

I am loving the idea of having a white bathroom with hints of these
beautiful colors above throughout the accessories.
This would be my dream bathroom. With tons of natural light coming through some beautiful windows that have a great view of some mountains or something. I just want it to be calm & serene for me to be able to relax in and soak in my tub.

My weekend in iPhone photos

I really hate blogger sometimes! It won't let me put my pictures side by side {or I'm just to stupid to figure it out! So if anyone knows how to do it then please tell me!} So it's kind of long because of that, Sorry for that.

Friday: My morning wake up call :: playing tickle monster with my main man :: my new Gussy Sews headband I got in the mail :: our dinner of tacos {we didn't realize that we didn't have lettuce until too late}

Saturday: Drinking his milk :: reading a book {upside down} :: relaxing while he's taking his nap :: Zane's new t-shirt :: my Old Navy purchases

Sunday: playing... playing... & more playing that's what we did Sunday!

These are all things I am definitely lusting after right now. If I had all the money in the world I would be buying them all right now! Unfortunately I do not so I will be having to wait to buy these things until I have the money to afford them.

Blog Sponsor Swap

I've been seeing this idea for a sponsor swap all over the blogosphere lately. I thought it was such a great idea that I decided that I would also like to join in. My blog is still very new and small. We've been open for about seven months now so I don't feel right in charging for sponsors*. If you are interested in the swap then here is how it will work:
  • I'll host your button as a sponsor for Libby's Life for one month.
  • In return you will host my button on your site as a sponsor for one month.
  • At the beginning of the month you will be featured in a sponsor introduction post where you can highlight yourself, blog and/or shop. Or whatever you feel like highlighting.
  • You will also have the option to do a guest post and/or giveaway.
  • Your button/ad will be placed in the right hand column.
  • Your ad will go up on the first day of the month and will come day on the last day of the month.
If you are interested in doing a sponsor swap then you can either leave a comment on this post or email me at libbywilson21 [at] mac [dot] com.

30 day shred - week three

This week was a complete and utter FAIL on my part! I did the workout ONE day out of seven... that is completely unacceptable! So I am going to have to step it up this week and then extend my 30 days into July so that I am actually doing the 30 days. I feel so guilty and I should because I also ate disgustingly.

So anyways wish me luck this next week. I have no goals because I can't think of anything other than to get my butt back into gear or totally fail at this 30 day shred thing just like I always have with losing weight and that is something that I DO NOT want at all!

3 Years

Today is our 3 year anniversary! I can't believe it has been three years already. It seems like just yesterday I was spending every.single.spare.moment I had planning my beautiful wedding.

{Maternity}
The man that I married on June 21, 2008 is my best friend, my confidant, the love of my life and the father of my son {children to be}. I love him more and more every single day! God truly blessed me when he brought this man into my life on March 31, 2007 {that's a story for another day} and yes I have it written on my calendar so I never forget. ;) I couldn't imagine not having him right by my side throughout the rest of my life. He does so much for me on a daily basis. He works so hard so that I have the opportunity to stay home with our son which has always been my dream job and when my husband told me that once our son was born he wanted me to stay home with him, I had never been so excited in my life. {we talked for a very long time about this before he made his decision!} He is amazing, I couldn't be happier with my simple little life. I love him more than words and my love grows for him every day. I thank God every night that he brought him to me and gave me the perfect husband.

{Engagement}
I am 100% Positive that God brought me the perfect husband!

{Rehearsal}
I now have the perfect {beginnings of a} family because of my wonderful husband. So I have to thank him for helping me to live my dream!

Favorite Hair Products

I thought I would share some of my favorite hair products that I use on my hair on a pretty much daily basis. So here are the products that I have found that work really well on my hair.

1. TiGi Catwalk Salt Spray: I use this when I don't want to dry my hair in the summer. It works so great on my hair, I don't have very wavy or curly hair so this gives me just the right amount to look like I spent the day at the beach.
2. Conair 1875 Turbo Styler: I have had this hairdryer for years and years. It is nothing special but I do love it because it has three heat settings & three heat settings. Plus a cool shot button.
3. Kenra Root Lifting Spray 13: I love this stuff! I don't have much body to my hair it's very fine but I have extremely thick hair so it's heavy because of how much hair I have. So this gives me that extra lift that I have been needing for awhile now. I have only used this a couple times but it has not let me down yet. LOVE IT!
4. TiGi Masterpiece Massive Shine Hairspray: This is a great hairspray. It doesn't make your hair crunchy at all and that is something I HATE with some hairsprays. I like my hair to feel natural and no matter how much you put on it doesn't make it crunchy.
5. TiGi Bed Head After Party Smoothing Cream: I use this before I dry my hair to tame my fly aways. Ever since I had my son my hair has been a lot more corse and so this helps me with not having little pieces sticking up all over my head.
6. TiGi Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo: I don't like to wash my hair every single day but I have extremely oily hair. But it really isn't good for my fine hair to be washed everyday so I use this stuff on the days that I don't wash my hair and you would never even know I didn't because it looks freshly washed all day long and even into the 3rd day. I am definitely in love with this stuff. It has made my life much easier.
7. CHI Flat Iron: This works pretty good on my hair. I am in need of getting a new one soon though because mine is dying. I've had it for a long time and it's lived a good life.

Dad

For my dad. You are an amazing father and I am so glad that you were chosen for me. You truly are the best dad a girl could ask for. I don't know what I would do without you in my life. I love you more than words can say. Thank you for everything that you have done for me throughout my life and every day still. I am definitely a daddy's girl through and through and always have been. If I ever wanted something I would always ask you because I knew you would hardly ever say no which was perfect for me but not so great for mom. But you loved me so much more than I could have ever asked for. You loved me even though I am not "yours", you loved me for who I was and now for who I am. You are an amazing dad and now you are an amazing poppa to your grandson who thinks the world of you. You took Mr. Sheriff in like he was your own son and you love him just as much as you love brother & me. We all love you so much for that and thank you!
